The University of Delaware held an alumni event at the Headquarters for one of their partners (and uniform manufacturer) Under Armour. The grounds where the ceremony was set up for Adam and Kelley’s wedding at the Blue Max Inn in Chesapeake City, Maryland looked beautiful. Chesapeake City had their annual St. Patricks Day parade in town yesterday (followed by a pub crawl for the adults). The Philadelphia Mummers Band (Duffy String Band), Clydesdales from nearby Winbak Farms, some great classic cars, High School bands (from Bohemia Manor, Rising Sun, and Elkton) were some of the highlights of the parade.Details
It finally got above 50 degrees for what seems like the first time in months this weekend, so we went out and enjoyed the sun and the snowless backyard for the first time in a while, with our happy little girl (and took some photos of course). The water in much of the Elk River is very shallow and slower moving, but then drops off sharply towards the deep channel. It creates an interesting effect when the temperature is low for this long. The hundred feet or so near the shore freezes, while the faster moving water in the channel doesn’t,Details
